I wasn't going to send a group email this week, but then I had time to! It'll be a shorter one, but I wanted to say hi, so here ya go.
I leave the MTC tomorrow, which is, pretty mental. It's been real. It's been fun. But has it been real fun? The answer is yes, haha!
Next week I'll let everyone know who my trainer is, and what area I'll first be in!
There are approximately 6,000 verses in the Book of Mormon, and 4,000 of those verses mention Christ. That is 2/3 of the whole Book! If you don't believe me, then have a look and see for yourself. Just pop the book open & read. Christ is mentioned from the very first chapter in Nephi, all the way to the last chapter in Moroni. It's another Testament of Christ though, so really, is it that surprising that it's about him? Odd concept I know.
"We talk of Christ, Rejoice in Christ, Preach of Christ, and Prophesy of Christ." 2 Nephi 25:26
Please find the time to read, and please share with me your favourite verse in the Book of Mormon about Christ. There are plenty to choose from ;)
